Mmm… tomatoes are definitely interesting. The whole argument on whether they are fruits or vegetables makes them interesting enough. However, today we’ll talk about eating them. I’ve met many people that “do not eat” tomatoes. For some weird reason they just don’t like them, but even if you don’t like them you should eat them anyway. Here is why.
-Tomatoes taste good.
-Tomatoes are a good source of lycopene.
-Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant.
-Lycopene may help prevent/treat a range of diseases: Cardio-vascular disease, breast cancer, prostate cancer, cervical cancer, asthma, lung cancer, etc.
-You can eat a tomato with almost anything. (pizza, sandwich, rice, chips, fries, etc…)
-You can make juice out of a tomato.
-Tomatoes have vitamin c, vitamin a, potassium and more nutrients.
Did i mention tomatoes taste good? No seriously, no kidding, don’t forget to include them in your diet!
